Summer Success Reading Project
Our Summer Success Reading Project is critical to help reduce summer slide – the loss of reading comprehension during summer.
Help Kids Want to Read in the Summer
Reading loss is likely to have a greater impact on low-income, at-risk students who are less likely to be exposed to enriched activities in the summer.

This project provides 6 age-appropriate books for every student in grades K-3 in the 13 elementary schools with the highest rates of
poverty. These 3800 students will receive these books in the final days before summer recess and given encouragement to read these
and other books over the summer.
This is a $110,000 reading project, so donations of any size will help fund it.
